“I think Magnolia is one of the best films I’ve ever seen and I can say that straight and out and anybody that disagrees with me I’ll fight you to the death. I just think it is one of the greatest films I’ve ever been in and ever seen.” —Phillip Seymour Hoffman

Pitchfork says that Ben Gibbard says: Postal Service Second Album Prognosis Grim → pitchforkmedia.com

“It’s the record that never seems to want to come out. It’s also just never been a priority…There never really was a plan to do a second album.”

GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER GIBBARD.  THE WORLD NEEDS MORE POSTAL SERVICE.

tumblr wasteland.

with my recent jump into twitter, i feel like this tumblr has become somewhat of a wasteland of easy posts.  videos, reblogs, etc.  i do like having a repository for stuff that i like on the internet, but my goal with this thing was always to push myself to actually write things, even if they were short and stupid and thats not what most people use tumblr for.

so, i’m making my declaration to post more a public thing because when i keep things to myself, they never happen.

with that, here are some recent thoughts i’ve had:

  • who invented the sofa bed?
  • i’m a sucker for a good pun.  or even a bad puns.  are all puns bad?  maybe.  i still like them.
  • in a related note, one of my favorite things about posting on tumblr is coming up with a pun for the title.
  • diet soda is like experimental music; it takes a while to get into, but once you’re in it tastes pretty good.  but the sugar soda is still easier to drink.
  • i may twitter all of these things.  don’t be surprised if they show up there soon.
